John Yeon (1910-1994) worked for the firm of A.E. Doyle & Associates and is credited, along with Pietro Belluschi, with the development of the Northwest Regional Style of architecture. He designed the Wentz Studio in Neahkahnie, Oregon. His other notable buildings include the Watzek House in Southwest Portland (1937), Shaw House, and Swan House.
